June 25, 2007 Fun in the Sun

True friends will always remain, no matter what! I've known this chic since I was like 21???

I haven't been out to her parents' lake house in like 8 or 9 years! The last time I remember being out there with her, we slept over night/ camped out on the dock...there was no house yet! We canoed earlier that day and camped out on the dock that night. We have so many memories together! It's great to have friends that no matter how long you've been away from each other, you always pick right back up where you left off! Just like our silliness together:

Anyways...we had a blast on Sunday! We hung out like celebrities by the pool and then got out on the boat! It was huge fun!!!

The house is amazing! The last time I saw it, it was a frame on a lot! Man, I bet you could see a bunch of nice sunrises out here!!! :)

Anyways, my friend has a beautiful daughter too! I loved her...she is the coolest! She is such a girl and loves pink, but she is such a tomboy too. She loves to do just about anything. I had so much fun hanging out with her. We went on the tube together later that evening, and I got her to stand up on it. She did such a great job! She is adorable!

She has this cool float...it's a jet ski. It has a little motor in it! hehe Too cute!

That's how excited I was about her little jet ski!!! :p

Anyways, good friends = good times! Always!

So, we went out on the boat! Whoo-hoo! We went tubing first. Jennifer and I got on together for the first round.

I LOVE going tubing! :)

Jennifer was probably trying to give me some important instructions like, "Look to the right and you'll see where....." and I'm like "Move the boat already!!!" haha

MOVE IT ALREADY!!!! lol

I was laughing my ass off! I don't know what it is, but I always laugh! I guess that's a good thing??? I like to do things and I like to have fun. :)

I also tried knee boarding later on....I kept falling off! lol

Jenn's dad said I did very good for a first timer though. The boat pulled me up, and I steadied the board, but each time I would start putting my knees up higher onto the board, it was just wobbly, and I would fall off! hehe It was fun though!

Jenn's daughter went tubing too! Good times! I got pics of her and Jennifer together! :) She did really good, and she fell in love with it.

As we were out on thee lake that day, there was some huge lake party! It was awesome! All these boats tied up together...people dancing and partying and just having a good time.

I ended up staying for dinner too! Yummy!!! :) Her dad grilled steaks! I don't think I've had a steak in like a year??? Maybe??? It was good though...perfect and pink on the inside...corn on the cob, salad, baked potato and banana pudding!!!

What an awesome lake house!!! This is that dock we stayed on over 8 years ago!!! :)

What an awesome friend too! No matter how much time goes by, I know we will always remain friends! She has been with me through college. :)
